The CITY MOVE project

City Move aims to investigate the impact of active and healthy urban environments on reducing the incidence of non-communicable diseases.

The project will study the impact of 13 interventions to promote physical activity in six cities on three continents. The Global Action Plan for Physical Activity (GAPPA), designed by the World Health Organization, will guide the development of a framework to evaluate and promote the transferability and implementation of elements that support and promote physical activity among the least active or vulnerable populations.
